scent of silky….eeeeew!
If you guys are probably wondering what this post is all about then read on the lyrics below: (It was impossible for me to remember the actual lyrics…. but I tried).

Now half of you guys and gals out there must be either laughing that hysterical laugh, while the rest half might have been disgusted and decided to discontinue reading.
Rest assured, that’s NOT the lyrics of my new bathroom song. Rather its a song (say a feeble attempt) by some Silky Kumar (yeah, you heard that right).
The song titled ‘Scent Of Desire’, it actually is ‘Scent of ‘Aw-my-god-I-need-the-remote-else-I’ll-die’’. The video boasts of women dressed in monotone see-through sarees- fuschia pink, fluorescent green, sunshine yellow and torturing orange, all doing there jhatkas and matkas in a neat circle falling all over our hero ,the man who’s merrily singing accompanied by his pelvic thrusts( in his hot pink corduroy pants teamed with a frilly polka-dotted shirt!! ‘God, where is that damn remote?!’).
The scenes before and after drag you back in those early 1980’s where woman with a slight paunch shaking their booty was still the ‘in’ thing!! (Need I say more?!)
All in all, a thoroughly disgusting song (and video).So much so, when I saw the video I was amazed (at his audacity to come up with something like that!) and I think ( like typical hindi movies) – ‘Nahi..ab aur nahi.Mere kaan yeh nahi bardasht kar sakte hein. Mujhe baksh do!’…Err, still confused, I’m yet to decide which was disgusting’ier – the song or the video.

Lol… I hated the song too, but now with the constant airplay it’s gettin on MTV, I’m beginning to like it. But can’t find it anywhere for download on the Net. Neways, liked your post.
