Welcome 2009
I am totally psyched about year 2009, as I have no idea where I would be spending my 31st Dec, ‘09. Its always thrilling to think “At the beginning of the year I am in blah & blah (currently, College Of Engineering, Pune)… only God knows where I will be at the end of the year” . Almost all of my friends have planned to either do MS or MBA, so they have it all sorted with which college they would be joining, their field of interest, etc. etc. Unlike me, they pretty much know what they want out of their lives. I have never known what I want to do, and still haven’t figured out (which is not exactly a very good thing)… lets see what is in store for me and the world in general in the year 2009!! By the way, Happy New Year to you all

Southpark
It all began with the Southpark movie that I watched one fine day. Soon I liked the series and started watching some of the episodes. However, I was grossed out with one or two of them and quit watching it for sometime (as I had ‘How I met your Mother’ to watch )… Vacations began and with nothing to do, I was left with very little choice. I resumed watching southpark, and now I even liked it. Soon I was addicted to it so bad that I could watch 5- 6 episodes and not get bored or disgusted (well, you get used to it later on). Today, finally I finished watching all 12 seasons alongwith the extra videos, commentaries, songs etc. And as Eric Cartman would put it, it feels ‘Totally A-w-e-s-o-m-e’ .

MoOd IndiGo ‘08
While last year’s Mood I was more about roaming around, checking out events and all,this year it as more of hanging around doing absolutely nothing and enjoying it!! With no or hardly any sleep for the last three days, I have no clue as to what am I writing.. .. but like always, Mood I ‘08 was a lotta fun

Vacations….
It feels so nice when you wake up in the morning and you have nothing to do. You can wake up at any time you please, do anything you want to do after that and not have to be somewhere on time, or do some ###### assignment that your teacher told you to submit, or study for that end of the week test.
Ah!! The pure joy of being idle ….

Wow! The new dashboard looks pretty cool! Also, my new look with snow falling and all ….The best part is the QuickPress. I no longer have to wait for hours to upload my posts.

This is how I did my engineering…
I was recollecting all that I did during my engineering, which would be as follows:
Semester 1
• Was thrilled to get admission into COEP, one of the esteemed colleges in and around Pune. However, after the initial euphoria vanished, it was soon followed by excessive cribbing and boredom (It takes me time to make friends).
Semester 2
• Made a few friends in college and was enthused to join the dance club (Also did a dance performance in college).
Semester 3
• By this time ,somehow depression had set in, as I thought college would never end! Also, I cared a lot about my scores back then, which weren’t very nice, so I was pretty sad. Also, left dancing. In short, the saddest semester in my engineering life
Semester 4
• Somehow, I managed to enter the girl’s football team and play in Zest. I also managed to strike a winning goal!! Was the right forward for my team
• Did a lot of time-pass (courtesy: Aniket Khasgiwale) and watched a lot of movies (courtesy: Yash Tamaskar).
Semester 5
• MindSpark ’07- The annual national level technical festival was in its pioneer year, and I jumped into it, without a second thought . Organized the paper- presentation competition .
• This semester was completely devoted to watching ‘WonderYears’
Semester 6
• This semester was the best out of all. Played football (again) for college during Zest
• Was also a part of Guinness Book of World Records (for the longest painting) !!
• Finished watching all the episodes of ‘Friends’
• Also, watched a lot of ‘Simpsons’
Semester 7
• MindSpark ’08 – Was in-charge of Finance (which is a lot of work, but I loved it)
• Also started watching ‘Southpark’
• And watching every episode of ‘How I met your mother’ which has turned out to be my favourite sitcom (after ‘Friends’, ofcourse ).
With only 1 semester to go before I graduate, who knows how I would be spending my next and last semester of engineering ….
